Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered in a search tool, such as a name or case number, is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. That provider processes the query and supplies its results under its own policy. Desha County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact message may be retained long enough to review the request, respond, and maintain an appropriate business record. It is not shared outside the organization unless service delivery or a valid legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server and analytics records may collect technical information when a page loads. The information can include:
- The device's internet protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that can help measure visits, page use, and navigation patterns. Analytics vendors may combine this information into traffic reports. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although disabling them may change how some website functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
Collected information may be used for the following operational purposes:
- Maintaining website availability, speed, and security
- Routing a search request to the selected outside service
- Measuring which content visitors use
- Diagnosing errors and preventing misuse
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Desha County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of Arkansas case files, court dockets, or personal case information. It publishes reference material about Search ARCourts, the Desha County Circuit Clerk, and the Dumas and McGehee District Court departments. Official judicial case access is governed chiefly by Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19, including its exclusions and remote-access limits.
The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. ยงยง 25-19-101 through 25-19-110, applies to many executive and local administrative records. It does not replace the Arkansas Supreme Court framework for judicial case records. Nothing collected from visitors is assembled into a consumer report, and Desha County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search tools that appear on the website. A query submitted through one of those tools is subject to that company's privacy, retention, and disclosure practices rather than this policy. Review the provider's terms before entering information because Desha County Court Docket cannot control the provider's handling of a submission.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Arkansas Judiciary, Search ARCourts, a clerk or court office, a legal resource, or an outside search provider. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy terms govern. Read those terms before providing personal data.
Advertising services may use their own technology to measure activity across websites or select ads. Any such processing occurs on the advertising provider's systems and under its policies.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- A search provider that receives a query
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that place or measure ads
- Government or law-enforcement authorities responding to valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect information under the website's control. No internet transmission, storage platform, or security method is guaranteed to prevent every incident. The website therefore cannot promise absolute security.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If such information is identified, a request may be made for its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Applicable privacy or consumer-protection law may provide rights that depend on a visitor's place of residence and the data involved. Those rights may include:
- Requesting access to personal information held about the visitor
- Asking that inaccurate personal information be corrected
- Seeking deletion where the law permits it
- Opting out of certain processing when an applicable law provides that choice
Administrative Order 19 and the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act concern access to government or court records, not a general right to alter an official Desha County case file through this private website.
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised as services, practices, or legal duties change. A revised policy becomes available on this page with a new effective date, so visitors should review it from time to time.
